The Other Italian Stallion

Actually, Enrico Italian Stallion Bariani is the only Italian Stallion anyone is watching this weekend, as he puts in a bid to finish well in the FC508 Solo Men's division. Actually, this man has confidence to match his totem, boldly predicting that he was hoping to win the race and establish a new course record in the process. That is quite a goal, but as this photo was taken, the Italian Stallion was among the leaders after 185 miles. His plan has been to spend the last four Thursdays riding the same hilly 181-mile route at a hard pace to prepare for the climbs.
He really is Italian, having immigrated to the US just a few years ago, as he puts it, for opportunity. Two of his friends were supposed to join him in the race this year, but had to change their plans.
