1998: I've made many wonderful friends over the years through my involvement with RAAM and the 508. Along the way one of my proudest achievements has been qualifying many excellent riders to compete in RAAM. In fact, essentially all American racers who compete in RAAM, every year are 508 veterans! One such standout is Rick Amoeba Anderson, who raced in, and finished, RAAM 1998.
