1985: This shirt was actually made by and for 1991 entrant Mary Burns, but it features one of the now legendary quotes from the Wide World of Sports coverage of the 1985 race. Other famous lines from that year include Boyer's "We're not cavemen!" Boyer would become my mentor and coach for the next two years leading up to my own participation in the 1987 race.
