1982: Nick Gerlich, a 508 and RAAM veteran, was the RAAM Race Director for several years in the mid to late 90s. He and his wife Becky put out a variety of RAAM t-shirts, including this one. However, the first Race Across America was actualled called the Great American Bike Race, as you'll see in the next image.
