1992: Back in these early days, one of my favorite entrants was Portland area triathlete Frank Gazelle Goulard. As this was before email, he used to send me these neat little postcards covered with his insights and lessons learned from his racing in the 508. This is probably one of the nicest things I've ever heard or read about the race. I surprised Frank by putting it on the back of the 1992 shirt.
